A number of outstanding resources are listed below for your convenience. Each site offers critical insight into various aspects of colonial history.

New York Public Library Exhibition --  "Dry Drunk: The Culture of Tobacco in 17th- and 18th- Century Europe" offers an in-depth, historical analysis of America's most important exports, including entertaining illustrations.

Traditional Ballad Index -- maintained by California State University, this popular site includes an excellent annotated bibliography of folk songs of the English-speaking world.
