Leach almost one hundred years ago, along with many other published sources, the Rev. Pyne has compiled the first register ever published of all known descendants of the fifty-six signers of the Declaration of Independence, one of America's most important and most beloved documents

Volume I covers the states of New England. Volume II covers the state of New York. Volume III covers the state of New Jersey. Volume IV covers the state of Pennsylvania. Volume V covers the states of Delaware and Maryland. Volume VI covers the state of Virginia. Volume VII covers the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
