Spring meeting in Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon, VA

April 10-12, 2015

Do not miss the opportunity to spend the day at George Washington’s home, Mount Vernon, including a special wreath-laying ceremony at Washington’s Tomb. We are privileged to have the invaluable assistance of our fellow member, Lisa Moore, from Staunton, VA, who recently stepped down after a 17-year term as the Vice-Regent from Virginia with the Mount Vmt. vernonernon’s Ladies Association.

Lisa will be speaking to us at our Friday night dinner. We will be staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Old Town Alexandria with a special room rate for DSDI members. Our Saturday night banquet will be at the hotel. Our special guest-speaker at the banquet will be Nan Pendergrast Marshall from Savannah, GA who co-authored with her daughter, Helen Broder, the recent book: What Would George Do?: Advice from Our Founding Father. Meeting Agenda and Registration form will be mailed to members in early February.
