Host Hotel Accepting Reservations for Fall Meeting in Providence, RI

Our fall 2024 meeting will be in Providence, Rhode Island, October 18-20. It includes a bus tour with visits to the burial site of Signer William Ellery, the Nathanael Greene Homestead, and a site that’s known as “America’s first blow for Freedom.” We will also visit the home of John Brown, the leader of the Sons of Liberty in Rhode Island. Our final stop includes the home and burial site of Signer Stephen Hopkins. Registration for our fall meeting will open after our annual meeting once the details have been finalized, but the host hotel is accepting reservations now.

A block of rooms has been reserved in Warwick at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The price is $199 per night plus tax. We are pleased to share with you that the Crowne Plaza hotel is dog friendly for a fee, which you can check when you book your room. Also, the hotel provides free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Please do not call the hotel directly to book, as it goes to a central booking line and your reservation will not be noted as being in the DSDI block of rooms. Use the link below instead. Room block cutoff deadline is September 17.
