Fall Meeting Testimonials: Opportunity to Search for Ancestors

Since I joined the DSDI a little over 20 years ago I have attended most of the meetings. This time, I get to add Rhode Island to my list of states that I have visited. This time, I hope to do some searching for ancestors on my wife side. Her great grandparents lived in Taunton, MS, but moved to the Providence area, and we lost track of all the potential cousins.

Another reason is we have always enjoyed the planned tours that are associated with the Signers’ homes and other local history. Plus, it is like catching up with family when you see all those familiar faces of the other members that attend meetings.
